Theater staff, nursing staff, kitchen staff are all great. Wonderful caring people. Food is nice beds are comfortable there is nothing more I could ask for.

My husband was booked in for shoulder surgery but an hour after he arrived at the hospital and paid his money the surgeon decided not to go ahead due to some sort of complication. My husband was told he would be given a full refund. Months later he is still waiting for his money to be refunded. Back in January they said the cheque's in the mail, could be up to 6 weeks. Never arrived. In March they said they would try sending it again. Never arrived. In May they were given a different address to send it to after they suggested the problem could be at our end. Never arrived at the other address either. It is now almost August and we are still waiting for our money. They know we haven't received it as no cheque was ever cashed. Calls to the accounts department go to a message bank and they don't call back. Calls to reception get transferred to the same message bank. We are talking about nearly $2000 that was paid from a credit card and has been accruing interest this whole time. What do we do now? Surely there is a better way to refund someone's money than "the cheque is in the mail" when it repeatedly doesn't arrive?

I'm giving this hospital 2/5 stars because the administration team of this place is awful. I love the nurses but the admin team suck. My partner went in for 1 procedure...prior the procedure they told my partner there was a fee to pay. When he went in for his actual procedure my partner wanted to pay the few that was discussed and the nurses told him he has no fee to pay. We asked 3 times if this was accurate and the nurses insisted the doctor doing his procedure would waive the fee. They waited one year after the procedure to let him know that he owes the hospital money. Today we went in for a second procedure and the day before a nurse called to let us know that we needed to go to floor 1. We got a call on the day of the procedure to say that we have to go to level 4 instead. We did just this. When we got to the hospital I went down to level 1 for assistance with payments and the admin lady who was there was such a snarky cow I almost had a go at her. They also don't make any courtesy calls to let you know how your loved ones are going with their procedures. I think the place lace care.

Hospital staff are great. However,don't over pay any charges or fund excess,while they will send you an account very quickly with a demand for payment within seven days for drugs used etc.I Have been trying to get a refund from them for an overpayment of health fund excess of $100.00 for three months and after today's phone conversation with their a/cs dept. I will still have to wait another 2-3 weeks
