While I was apprehensive seeing the menu was mainly comprised of fake meats, Au lac did not disappoint. My girlfriend and I loved every dish: duck pancakes, honey soy chicken and the laksa combination. All were as tasty or better than their meaty counterparts. For the quality of the food and service the prices were low. As the evening started wrapping up we discussed how well the staff had paced the dishes only to amazingly be given a significant discount to apologise for 'slow service'. Don't hesitate, go Au lac. Go green!

Sadly there are not that many vego Vietnamese places around Sydney. Au Lac in the Gong is the second closest to the City (the first being Vinas in Newtown).
Love their Pho.

great food and great staff. great prices and great value!! theres only one major flaw. THEY DONT SPLIT THE BILL! be ready for a confusing and annoying end to a great night.
