I love this place stopped and stay here when I was coach driving very friendly so stay here for a week with my own caravan the town centre comes to life at night

We spent one night here during our trip along the Danau. Tje place is quiet and the people are nice and helpfull.
One black point the toilets... only 2 showers and one wc for the men.

Quite area, perfect for one night stop and for bikers. Poor smelling toilet.

I get it that this Austrian kneipe is mostly a camping area for the summer, but with all the river cruise lines stopping in Melk for the Abbey and Melk Christkindlmarkt, it seems they may be missing out on several hundred new foreign customers each day. We tried in vain to find a good kaffee haus or bar in Melk during our visit, but not much luck. Being so near to the Danube, I would be offen every day to capitalize on the tourist traffic...at least during December. I wish I could say that we had a Wieselburger Bier here, but was disappointed. Loved the view of the Danau and proximity to our ship.
