.......This hotel turned out to be just suitable for our party of about 70 people travelling on a tour bus through former Eastern Europe and we were just over nighting! They were very efficient in processing this rather large crowd, the rooms were okay'ish, clean and there was even a bath in bathroom so you could relax in it! The staff were friend-lii! They served us a three course dinner and a full buffet breakfast the next morning! This hotel is located a bit away from the cities hustle & bustle which served us good! The building is very snazzii in its own way when you enter the hotel foyer all you see is the very high ceilings and all the hotel floors with stair-cases leading to the first three floor nothing like we have ever experience of a hotel building on our travelling escapades! .......nice comfortable accommodation here in Salzburg, Austria!...................

Ghastly!!!
I had to wait for 2 hours at the reception for my from to be cleaned in spite of the fact that I was supposed to check in at 1 pm. I was appalled to find cigarette butts in my bathroom even after the the apparent "cleaning" ordeal....!
The experience of staying at this place was pathetic to say the least. It's a very old hotel with small rooms, creaky furniture and worn out locks, doors and furniture. The bathroom is clad with a weird pink 80's tiles. The carpet is stained all over. The bed is very thin and uncomfortable.
There are no supermarkets or restaurants around, it's a completely deserted place for tourists.
The breakfast was just okay, underemployed staff weren't able to handle much, even though there were only a few guests.
It's far from the city centre as well.
There are much....MUCH better options than this one.

No big complaints here. Everything was pretty average including the beds, rooms, breakfast, and location of hotel.
