It is a view nice combination of parks, palace building and gardens. Is is absolutely beautiful even in the autumn when the leaves have fallen off.

The museum is quite interesting, and photography without flash is for the most part allowed. It offers far more than Klimt's work, which is usually swarmed by tourists. The charming cafe, which is kept in style, can be entered from the museum and provides a welcome break. Their apple strudel and espresso (kleiner Schwarzer) were pretty good. A walk from the upper Belvedere to the lower part through the gardens with a lot of kitschy statues is definitely a must. Also pretty funny is the 'fat house' in the front of the upper Belvedere.

This is a jewel in Vienna's crown. Spent a fabulous day exploring the Palaces and surrounding gardens. Started by entering at the south end and after a walk through history. Exited the north end. Best way to go as it's a down hill walk and I believe you get better views in the direction you walk.

A lovely park and a lovely palace. Don't make it first on your to do list, but if you have time walk through for some nice views of town and a fine set of fountains.

Great palace to visit has two part the upper palace and lower palace with gardens in between. Pleasant day spent wandering through the palaces and gardens - with some interesting pieces if art from paintings to statues on display. To enter the palaces you need to purchase a ticket but the garden is free entry.
