The negatives for this place were the background smell while we were sitting outside (smelled like agricultural effluent) , the staff were not particularly friendly, the coffee would get a 4 out of 10 on my rating system and there was no English menu or guide as to what food contained gluten (which is common elsewhere) . Fortunately had German speakers with me. The food was good

Außergewöhnlich gutes Restaurant, angenehmes "altertümliches" Ambiente, nette Bedienung! Der Chef hat uns sogar angeboten extra ein Hauptgericht nach Wunsch zu servieren!

The exquisite meal was as delicious as it was beautifully presented. The castle dining experience provided astounding ambience.
