Stamford University Bangladesh is a private university in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was established in 2002 under the Private University Act. Before starting as a university, its predecessor institution was known as a Stamford college group established in 1994, later it was upgraded as private university of Bangladesh in 2002 and appeared as Stamford University Bangladesh. Stamford University is the first ISO certified university in Bangladesh.The university is also accredited from IEB for Engineering for the departments Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil engineering and from IAB for Architecture.The University has multiple campus building all over the heart of Dhaka city. The campus in Siddheshwari comprises departments such as the Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Microbiology, Civil Engineering, Law etc.

very wellknown privet university in country. once it was top 7 privet rangking in Bangladesh. they are trying again to make it. here only for engineering class taken.

Wanna see top 7 Stamford university in my country. It's really better than other university.I don't understand how they research university ranked.....? It's should be top 7 because of quality education. It also have friendly environment I guess..... when I was 8 I heard Stamford name I still remember**** everyone knows Stamford name cos of what..... good opportunity.

Stamford University Bangladesh was founded in the city of Dhaka in 1994 which was, at that time, known as Stamford College Group Bangladesh. This institution has been established with a view to making significant contribution to the development of education in the country. Since its beginning this institution has been continuing with international standard educational programs in Bangladesh with great success and fame. Stamford College Group was upgraded as a full-fledged university in 2002 with the approval of the Government of Bangladesh and emerged as Stamford University Bangladesh.Less expensive private university. Easy grading policy. Quality of education is moderate. Environment is not that much good.
