Delicious and fresh dishes are served in this Seafood oriented, Michelin listed restaurant located at the heart of Brussels. The limited space makes a warm ambience, although lights could be dimmed. Service in a rush but efficient.

oh wow, this place is amazing...I had the best beef stroganoff I've ever had...it's pricey but well worth it

My partner and I walked into de l’Ogenblik tonight excited for a relaxing evening with amazing seafood dishes. Instead we walked into the door to an extremely rude waiter who threw two menus at us. When we requested if they had an English menu he said “yes” (mind you we already viewed their menu online in English), but refused to provide us with one. He sat us at a table in cramped space, either under a bar (literally the bar kept hitting my head) or next to the waiters stairway to the second floor portion of the restaurant. When my partner placed his coat in the middle of the booth, the waiter literally yelled at him to move it. He rudely walked away and when a second waiter walked over to us, we asked if they had a menu in English (recall the one previously said yes and we viewed one online). He told us “no and simply walked away”. We both were so astounded by the absolutely rude service that at that moment we walked out, and went around the corner to Taverne du Passage and had one of the best meals during our trip! I’m not certain how this restaurant got a Michelin mention, but never EVER would I EVER go here. Incredibly rude service and the worst atmosphere ever!

Lousy service, full of tourists getting conned! I waited 20 mins to order and 50 mins for a filet steak to arrive. Nice steak but same as any ordinary place but double the price. €9 small glass of red wine. Now waiting 20 mins for the bill and waiter is just taking the piss because I had the temerity to ask for the bill twice. Will I ever get out of here?
