We orderer a soup of the day ant spaghetti bolognese. The spaghetti was saltless and without any taste, and the soup was ok. But they charge 2 euros for a SINGLE slice of bread to eat with the soup. Totally disappointed. I dont recommend

Avoid at all costs.
First of all, there was a delay of 20 minutes from receiving the menus to ordering our drinks and food.
The soup of the day arrived after another 30 minutes and the main course arrived about 45 minutes after that, it was Spaghetti pesto, which tasted ok after adding a decent amount of salt, pepper and olive oil. The waiter explained that it was exceptional circumstances that caused the delays and apologised, but after reading these comments it's clearly just poor management that's to blame... Pricing was in keeping with the rest of Bruges, but there were some oddities like a 500ml bottle of water costing €5 while a good quality beer (Duvel) cost €4.90

Food was disappointing and the service bad. When trying to explain why I wasn't giving a tip the waiter started arguing about my comments.

I ate and drank here because it's located near a wwii plaque that is meaningful to me. The service wasn't perfect but the food was good. On a return trip to this restaurant all was good.
