Price for room was more than doubled and room was very small. This was due to seafood event increasing demand for rooms in and around Brussels!!!

Hotel was nice and so was the food has a range of spicy and mild food. People there were really helpful and helped us with our journey around Brussels (directions). And all of this was for a cheap price too.

An old Indian restaurant, even if the name doesn't show it ;-) ! Good food, fine environment and nice garden, even if a bit noisy (close to the boulevard)

The worse experience I've ever had.
I was put in a loft / attic and I could not stand upright in the room.
I had to move inside the room like in a submarine because it is a loft right at the roof converted to a bedroom.
Bathroom was in two parts - washbasin and shower in one part and the toilet in the other. For both, one side was at the inclined roof, so you could not do anything while standing fully upright!
A/C was broken and I had to sweat in the loft until I finally decided to check out on the afternoon of the second day, it was unbearable.
There was no chair, so I could not even sit, I had to drag a table close to the bed to use my laptop.
Obviously there was no "normal" room available. So it can happen to you if you're the last guest that day!
I was asked to pay in advance BEFORE I saw the room. Fortunately I refused.
But the next day that I left, I was asked to pay for all 3 nights of my booking!
I refused and wanted to pay only for the 1 night that I stayed. Finally I was asked to pay for 2 nights, including the one I did not stay, they just wanted the money.
In many booking sites this hotel states facilities that are not entirely accurate and are also misleading. Example: "Elevator/Lift". Yes, but not for all rooms, and you still have to go up many stairs after the elevator has reached the floor. For my room, it was so difficult to go up with luggage because there are two sets of stairs, one after the elevator and one INSIDE the room, which is very narrow. You cannot carry a suitcase unless it is behind you or in front of you, but how do you go up the stairs like that?
From what I saw I would very much doubt that the "24 hour front desk" is real, because I was there at 7 o'clock in the afternoon and there was no one at the reception. I had to go back up and come down 1 hour later, and still no-one, but this time I rang a bell and they heard...
Also you cannot call it a front desk or a reception...
It is a very claustrophobic hotel from my experience, with poor service, reception was not always manned, I was waiting for ages to be served, the entrance does not have any sign next to the door or the doorbell, and rather looks like an abandoned house than a hotel. I had to go back out to look for a sign which I eventually found very high and only visible from a certain angle outside the road.
The worst part is that the person at the reception wanted me to pay in advance before I saw the room which is far from a direct honest approach and reveals a lot about how they think of their customers.
The decision is yours !
