One of the better places for winding down in Ghent. It's rather small, and there is only one path around the park, but what there is is quite beautiful. The paths are well maintained, the information displays adequate, and the pub and museum are rather small but eco-friendly. I would rate this park three stars because part of the path is next to a highway, were it not that there are no real alternatives... If you need your dose of nature, but can't leave the city, this is it.

Grrat place for birdwatching. Quiet in the outskirts of Ghent. Nice place to have a coffee after a day in nature and to see some animals closeby
