We really liked the place. The rooms were good, breakfast was tasty, and above all the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and that helped us a lot enjoying Sarajevo. We would definitely go back there if we ever visit Sarajevo again.

The room was very nice, clean and cozy. We had a rich breakfast with everything. And even if it was hot outside during the day, in the room the temperature was acceptable.

We , a party of 11 from Hong Kong, departed Mostar bus terminus for Sarajevo bus terminus on July 25, 2017. There and when touted, we paid 10 Euros for each car that took us to Halvat Hotel. The Hotel proprietor was pleased that we were overcharged by 100% and not 400%.
The Hotel is just a few minutes walk to the town centre and is about a 30-minute walk to the Latin bridge. As recommended by the Hotel, we tried cevapi in a restaurant and found a small portion (at 3.5 BAM) should be good for Asians. Further, be careful with your walk, as we witnessed a robbery and a hot pursuit after a man and a woman by the lone victim.
We were very pleased with our rooms and four of our members were exceptionally pleased with their storeyed apartments. Although we were advised to try other Saraejvo food outside, we preferred to have the hotel breakfast (at 4.6 Euros each) at the cosy Hotel basement. It was our wise decision and we enjoyed tremendously the choices of eggs, pancakes, and more importantly, the excellent service of the staff there.
Our stay at Halvat Hotel turned out to be highlight of our hotel stays during nine-day seven-night self-arranged trip to Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Both the Hotel's welcoming and parting were great and the lady Hotel proprietor posed a photo with us for her digital marketing. Our hired car drivers arrived at the Hotel well before time to drive us from Saraejvo to Split.

We stayed in Halvat quite a few years back. It was a very comfortable and pleasant experience. Elegantly decorated, very clean and well maintained with nice attention to detail. Customer service second to none. Location great. Would highly recommend it!
