To be clear, i did not stay atthe hotel. I ate outside during the water Festival in November 2017 and this review is based on my dining experience during this cultural event. This is an upsclae hotel with an upscale restaurant. During the Water Festival, they create a pop-up Khmer restaurant in the front of the property, along the river where the Dragon Boats race. They have a simplified menu of a limited selection of traditional Khmer food, offered at very near Khmer prices. Their regular staff waits on the tables in a manner consistent with an upscale restaurant, providing a high level of service and excellent quality food at very affordable local prices. I applaud the Angkor Riviera Hotel for their contribution to the community.

We stayed at the second floor of this hotel which was next to a busy intersection and the noise insulation was not really good. Traffic noise was constant in the room so you have to make sure that your room is nowhere near roads.
The beds were comfy and amenities were satisfactory if you're just looking for a place to spend the night without having to resort to guest houses. Though the beds only had one pillow each and lighting was a bit dim in our room.
The staff on the other hand are incredibly friendly and helpful, which is one of the saving grace of the hotel. Can consider this place if you're not planning to spend long time in the hotel.
