I took a class at Backstreet Academy which shared the space with the AHS. It is very nice setup outside the crowded tourist areas of pub street.

It is a bit out of the way but if you're looking to buy back some handmade scarfs, pottery items and wooden busts and carvings etc... This is the place to go. Everything is either made in house or sourced from local artisans. More importantly, YOU WON'T GET RIPPED OFF HERE. The place is a non-profit shop so prices are very reasonable and go back to the locals. I got a few handmade Khmer scarves and throws for just $7 a piece. Other places in town were selling them for $20 to even $30. Also got a really nice aromatherapy burner for just $6. All in all, a good place to check out if you wanna shop for souvenirs, give back to the local community and not get ripped off.

Great place to learn various Cambodia Handicraft. Did a 3 hours lesson on making cement bags and it was fun. However, remember to wear long pants as the area has lots of mosquitoes.
