My rating is 0 stars for the Brampton location. Terrible, terrible customer service and very unprofessional. We were quoted a set fee, and upon pick up additional fees were added, the employee tried to charge $250.00 to vacuum the van for having a dog in the van which we did not. We were told to go vacuum it our self because a regular vacuum would not work. The van wasn't even clean when we picked it up and only had ¼ tank of gas. When calling Avis, the employee Ramesh Lingaratnam was very rude, after I finished stating my compliant, he said to me, now that you spoke its my turn, he was trying to tell me that we agreed on all the extra fees, which were nearly double the original quote. I tried to talk again, and he became angry, I told him he needs to work on his customer service skills because he cannot speak to customers in that manner. Ramesh hung up the phone, I called back and told him I was filing a compliant and he hung up again, I tried calling back, but he would not answer the phone. I have filed a compliant with head office. I do not recommend this company at all. The employees are rude and unprofessional and try to scam extra money from customers.

Always receive great service from the location. I have been renting now for a while and you are rest assure they will treat you nice.

Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had, for ANY business, anytime, anywhere. Charged double the rate of others for a bottom-level car. Did not inform me that their rentals, as opposed to others in car rental, had a daily mileage limit, so I was hit with an extra $60 charge in just two days rental. My final bill was five times the amount charged on a previous rental from another company two weeks ago. Their website says they offer shuttles when needed .. so I asked for a shuttle, they told me it was unavailable. I had already paid my bill, so I was no longer worth doing anything for. Then a new customer walks in, and they offer him a shuttle (!!!) If it were possible to post zero, or negative, stars, I would, they do not deserve the one star I am forced to put in to get this posted (they did NOTHING to warrant any stars)

Staff is nice, but the policies are awful. My car is the garage until the end of the Avis work day and when I asked if I could keep the vehicle an extra 2.5 hours, I was told that I would be charged and entire day or to pay by the hour (which is $20/hour). Zero accommodation could be made to help me out, while I wait for the servicing to be completed on my vehicle. I'd rather pay more for a rental and get better service than go back to Avis.

The lady who works on the front dedk is so friendly like visiting familly.
