Always a pleasant experience going to Sakana! Robert and April are two of the friendliest and most attentive servers anyone could ask for. They are always happy to greet and see new customers and they really bust a move to get things flowing in the restaurant. Service is one of the best reasons why we come back so often.
Happy Hour specials are definitely worth the value. The baked oysters are above any other sushi restaurant we've been to in town. Definitely recommend the soft shell crab and their steak teriyaki dinners are tasty. If you prefer cooked food, go for the Love Boat special as it has mostly cooked items. The Love Boat has more sushi and sashimi items. Their tempura is delicious too so try that if you have a chance.
Oh I have to mention they have a candy bar that you can delve in to at the end of your meal (or before/during).

The drink specials are great and the food is generally good. Great place to get a late night or afternoon drink (during happy hour). There is parking, but the location is great because it's close to a bunch of bus stops and the train station.

Got a chance to visit this restaurant during happy hour. It's a nice spot located in China Town with free parking.
The service was good and the food came out quick. We got the Love Boat which was on special for 27$.
The happy hour prices are fantastic and the food was good. You do not come here for gourmet sushi but the sashimi was good and tasted fresh.
I would not take a die hard sushi enthusiast here but I will definitely be back for their happy hour.

This place was fantastic. The server was the best server I've had in years. His name was Corn. It was cozy, friendly and the food was to die for. The sake was tasting good and happy hour specials are very reasonable. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a delicious but quiet Japanese food place.

Really great food! I love the baked oysters! They're so good. We usually get the love boat and baked oysters on their happy hour times. Good quality and good price. Robert is one of the best servers. My boyfriend and I come in quite often and Robert is usually working. He's very friendly, welcoming and always ensuring we are doing ok! Thanks Robert!
