Great time at Atmosphere in Calgary yesterday. The store looked nice and welcoming. The staff were pleasant and helpful, especially Norman who really went above and beyond helping me look for the right color hydroflask bottle. Very good shopping experience.

Clothes are in good price and quality, employees are friendly. However, I do feel the mangers must not get any commissions form their sailing. I have 1200 dollars of clothes ready to pay, while the only cashier is taking to someone more then 10 minutes about some 40 bucks stuff. And they refused to let other people to help me upon my request, when I can see almost all the other employees are free at the time. I really don’t like the manger there. If there is any place have the similar product, I will definitely leave the that store right away and go for the others.
Now I found I forget one coat I picked at the store, while they said they will add it to my list. Had a really bad experience at the store.

In May 2017, two days before traveling overseas, I purchased a Columbia shirt from Atmosphere downtown. On the plane my wife noticed a number of flaws in the thread on the front and back. I wore the shirt during our extended travel, washing it as needed. Fortunately none of the thread flaws worsened but I felt these were manufacturer defects which should not be present on a shirt sold as new. I went into the store today and told my story. One person told me they can't warranty for wear and tear and would not accept that these defects were present on purchase. The other person said their warranty is only effective for 60 days after purchase and it is now August. Again, I said these defects were seen only days after the purchase and I was away during the 60 days return period. The only suggestion given was to pursue Columbia with my complaint. I felt my integrity was questioned and left quite dissatisfied with their customer service. I would not go back to this store. (In contrast, I returned some defective ear buds to the Source and they were replaced with a superior model, hassle free).

Super helpful staff. Good selection of gear. They run frequent sales on a variety of items. Picked up son Salomon hiking boots for a very reasonable price at the recommendation of one of the knowledgeable staff members. Thanks!

Very kind, helpful and extremely accommodating employees at this location. They're quite knowledgeable with their products. There's a pretty good selection and variety of products with great deals that pop-up randomly. It's a little crammed, but I guess that's what you get for having more variety in a small building. Overall, I've had really great experiences every time I visit!
