Nice facility, good staff, but expensive! Over 2x the price of other dentists throughout Calgary. A perfect example of taking advantage of an unregulated dentistry system in Alberta. If you go here you BETTER have excellent insurance!

Exceptional group of people at Solara, from the moment we walked in to the completion of our dental work we were taken care of and felt at ease and comfortable. Thank you to the entire team at Solara!!!

This was my first visit here and (like many) have anxiety with going to the dentist, which the front desk person was made aware of. I was on time for my appointment but ended up waiting 45 minutes to see the hygienist...my anxiety growing by the minute! If this wasn't bad enough, they only had enough time to clean my bottom teeth, which means coming back much sooner than id like. I would assume that if they are running late, (not me) that they would complete the entire exam/cleaning. I didn't feel like patient care was of upmost importance in this facility and will not be returning.

I had my first visit with Solara today. They were able to get me in for an early appointment, and were even finished early. The hygienist was extremely thorough, as well as the dentist. The reception was friendly, and submitted my paperwork on behalf.

Unfortunately I have to edit this post. Upon review of my claims, my insurance rejected a majority of their codes, and their pricing is outrageous. In total my claim will be over FOUR times what it was at my previous dentist (The reason I switched was we had moved cities, so my old dentist was also practicing in a major urban centre for comparison), I get that I'm paying for service in downtown Calgary, but that is nuts.
