I'm giving a one because I love Doctor Bishop. He takes the time to explain everything to me and answer all my questions.
I however would give a negative review for the staff.
I've never felt so forced and uncomfortable to buy contacts.
I get that they're trying to avoid people taking a tester pair and never coming back. But to force someone to buy a years worth of the contacts and sign a paper saying no refunds before they even tried the new pair of contacts is outrageous.
I don't have eye coverage in my benefits. I knew I'd have to try a few contacts before I settle on a pair to purchase. Which would line up with a pay day, and would allow me to purchase easily on my budget. But instead I was forced to pay for a years worth of contacts before even knowing if my eyes would work with them.
It'd make sense if there was a deposit you have to put down to get the testers, and then once settled, be able to purchase your contacts in comfort knowing they're going to work with the eyes.
Your staff need to learn to back off when it comes to people purchasing contacts, it makes me want to go elsewhere for service. Like Costco.

Made an appointment for 10am.. came to the location to find its now at 11:00am.. didn't get a courtesy call letting me know of this change..and now it's 11:30am still waiting to get in.!!

Dr.Bishops office was where wearing glasses started for me, ( at least 13 years now ) so I went in for some contacts so i could enjoy snorkelling in Cuba, i kinda pushed it a little late and left myself with 4 days before my trip. I was given great service from everyone, except Yesinia, the front counter lady. She was the last impression of Dr. Bishop's ofdice i got; Ive never been so mad when leaving the office. I called early afternoon to get an appointment, and on my phonecall i inquired about the emergency i have with my contacts and was reassured that i would be able to leave the office with Trial Lenses. Awesome! While i was there, three different people had told me that i would be able to leave with trial lenses.. that i had to pay $80 for. I have never ever been charged to see if lenses would be suitable, so i got in an arguement with Yesinia and nearly left the store. I wasnt given the lenses i asked for, and had to pay a crazy amount for the lenses because my prescription in each eye was different. If i didnt need these lenses for snorkelling, i wouldve walked out. I would never go there again. Ever.

Scam artist . the girls do not know what they are doing half the time ... Make you try new contacts .. Charge you for a years worth of solution that can not be used with any other contact and try to tell you you have to pay for it when you don't like the new contacts .. they go through your bill with you once your eyes are dialated . Charging me 320.00 for a years supply and tell you that's the only way they sell them .. you have to buy the entire years worth. ... But yet on the clearly contacts site .. it is 99.60 for a half year supply.. They are charging too much! .

Excellent care given me by Dr. Eric Bishop. Discovered by tests that I had had a stroke causing loss of vision & sent me by ambulance directly from his office to the hospital. Follow up care from him after was outstanding. Would refer him to others for exceptional eye care.
