I had a great experience at this Medicentre this evening. I felt care for, respected, and validated as a patient. I had contact with three members of staff and they were all professional, courteous, and friendly. Gabriel cleaned up my wound and Dr. Mir was my physician. I don't typically go to a walk-in clinic, but I wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

Based on sitting im the waiting room, i would say managment should speak to their employees in regards to the conversations that should and should not be had in a professional business. I do not agree with work bickering, swearing, calling people idiots is proper for staff who are sitting at the front of a waiting room and can hear. They arent even wispering, the one gal is extremly entitiled, loud and rather disturbing to listen to while she complains.. i mean i vent at work too but behind closed doors, you would never see someone having work vent sessions while a customer is on the phone so i would expect it to be the same while the customers are in the waiting room. I confronted her and she apologized if she offended me..which she did not but if i was the owner i would be absolutley dissapointed to know my staff is conducting in such a way.

I see from other complaints, the person handling these copys and pastes the same response, so please do not bother. I will not be calling in to discuss further. You have all the info here, date, time and location. I am sure thats more than enough to take action if you really ever do. ..

I tried to forget how I was treated but my anger just keeps building. I went to this clinic with a severe sore throat, high fever and could nearly talk. When waiting for the doctor she came in and just gave me a look then right away took my blood pressure and blood sugar levels. I admit I am about 30 pounds over weight but really?? My blood pressure was high she kept retaking it over and over and had a nurse retake it over and over, I was sooo stressed. After about 20'tries she said needed to go to emergency. Gave me a letter and sent me on my way. I read the letter it said she more or less that she didn't know what was wrong and i had high BMI. I was pissed I took nutrition BMI is outdated science. Instantly called my family doctor and by fluke was able to get in, the nurse even said I sounds horrible. Saw him, yes my blood pressure was high but he said that's normal to see since I was so sick, had lyringitis which the doctor at the clinic couldn't even get to cause she was so focused on the fact I was fat. I then explain what happened he was furious. He then confirmed I was yes 30 pounds over weight, I know not good. But I sure didn't need that stress in my life.

My ob gyne doctor suggested to see my family doctor asap after i visited her today . But when we got there around 3pm shes fully book. The lady receptionist was not friendly at all! She or would be nicer if she have told me to see other doctor instead without raising her voice! Im thinking to change my family doctor coz the staff is rude!

I have been going to this Medicentre for 7 years and normally I don't have a problem, but then again my expectations are never high with walk-ins. I only go here when my family doctor is not available.

This time, I was told specifically by the doctor (Dr. Osazuwa, who is really great) that we would not get a phone call from the clinic for test results unless there was a problem.
My daughter had been taking her antibiotics for 4 days after being there and was feeling much better. We got a phone call Friday night stating that my daughter needed to come back in right away. Thinking the worst, we went in Saturday morning. When we saw the doctor (not Dr. O), he came in asked why we were there? I told him, "They told me that my daughter needed to be seen right away so why don't you tell ME why we are here?". He didn't know. So I told him that she had an infection and is taking antibiotics and is feeling better. So then he very lazily and quickly looked in her ears and mouth and then asked us to follow him to his office to go over test results. I thought, "Okay, now we are getting somewhere".

He printed the test results and then tells me that the lab says she is on the right antibiotics for her infection. So then I asked, "Okay, so why were we asked to come in then?". He didn't have an answer for me. So I smiled through gritted teeth and left as quickly as I could.

There are 3 things wrong with this experience:
1. WHY are you calling me and making me worry by saying "The doctor needs to see your daughter right away"? Could you not just state that "test results are in and the doctor would like to go over them with you"? Wording is everything.

2. Why did the doctor not read my daughter's chart before walking into the room? If he had, he would have KNOWN why we were there and not have to ask ME, which only makes him look incompetent. He should have looked at her chart, looked at her test results and THEN come speak to us.

3. This WHOLE experience would have been avoided had anyone with sense looked at her results and her chart, and saw that indeed, she is on the proper medication for the type of infection, and therefore would have zero need to call us and make us worry, and waste my morning, and theirs as well.

I recommend going to this clinic if there are no other options.
