I’m not one to write a bad review but the overall experience here was just that horrible. If I could give it a zero star, I would. We brought in our vehicle to have the back bumper repaired from a fender bender. We returned to find that Intact had damaged our front bumper! We returned for the third time to find our vehicle had somehow accumulated 71 kms (equivalent to driving from Calgary to Didsbury) which we can only assume someone went joyriding in our Subaru WRX STI.
The manager, Genevieve Balanger tried to appease us by giving us a $25 gift card to Joey’s which was a sad and pathetic attempt at some sort of compensation. This in no way shape or form compensates anything that you have done to our vehicle nor does not make up for the lack of integrity and credibility.
If you are a responsible business, every attempt at fixing the problem should be made. We want to see accountability on how the repair is being quality controlled, we want to see transparency in the care of our vehicle and we want proper leadership oversight to ensure damaging and joyriding in our vehicle is not acceptable – NOT a $25 gift card. She said she’ll followup with us but instead passed the buck to some poor customer rep and we still do not have any proper documentation/procedures of what happened to our vehicle.
If you’re unfortunate to come here, our advice:
1) Take your own pictures of your vehicle when you drop it off. They will try to pass it off as pre-existing damage so we were fortunate to have 360 deg video of our vehicle
2) Protect yourself and your vehicle -Take pictures of your odometer when you drop it off and pick up. Let it be known that you’re tracking the mileage for your own due diligence.
3) Check your vehicle when you pick it up – if anything is wrong or suspect, any nick, dent, scratch, do not drive off the lot
Bottom line - Change insurance companies or go to your own body shop.

I want to give this post less than one star.
Horrible experience all around. Would suggest going anywhere else with your vehicle. I figured this would be the easiest most convenient way of receiving great car, I ended up with the complete opposite. The manager Monica chalked it up to miscommunication. For miscommunication to happen, you have to have communication in the first place. I am beyond frustrated by how this entire claim has been handled. Very happily switched my insurance over.
Very poor customer service, with staff members who have not been trained how to help.

The Intact Collision Centre was very helpful with trying to get my truck repaired.
Unfortunately the body shops Intact contracts to do the repairs leave a LOT to be desired.
If Intact chose better contractors that called the vehicle owner before replacing parts with non-OEM parts of inferior style and quality then I would not be left searching for satisfactory replacement OEM equivilant parts on my own time with my own money.
So thank you for the great service but I will find my own body shop next time.
