I had the most WONDERFUL experience my first time at Bali & Beyond! I was in a couple weeks ago and I was greeted with a hug, given a tour of the store and shown some of the most beautiful pieces ever! Not to mention I went home with some treasures for myself. The owner and the woman who was working at the front desk were unbelievably friendly and I can't wait until I get to come back! Ps. I'll be waiting for the video with the horn! 😉

Have had numerous great experiences with this wonderful store. Have taken away numerous treasures mostly instruments including a happy drum and didgeridoos which we use for our Music Circles. Always worth checking out if you're looking for something different. Friendly and helpful staff.

We love visiting the staff and store. The people are always helpful and willing to share their knowledge. The delivery staff were quick, professional and cleaned up after themselves. The customers we have met are more like friends. New stories and new treasures are just the next visit away. Hope to meet you there soon

I have picked up a number of great pieces of furniture and artwork from Balie and Beyond. I really love the raw character of the wood and appreciate the opportunity to find unique hand crafted wonders right here in Calgary. Keep up the great work!

Back in December I purchase a live edge table at Bali and Beyond. They offered customization. I wanted the table a bit shorter and with chrome legs. We agreed on a price and I was asked to paid it full, including delivery, and David, the owner advised the table would be delivered in about 3 weeks. 3 weeks passed and no table, I called and was told the table would be ready in 1 more week. 2 weeks ended up passing and I was getting pissed so went back to the store to talked to David. He advised the table was going to be ready for delivery next day but there was a small change. Chroming the legs was too expensive, so he decided to have them painted grey instead. I was super mad because he had made that decision on his own when we had already agreed on something else and I had paid in full. Why was my fault that chroming the legs was more expensive than he first calculated? He ended up agreeing to have the legs chromed and pay for the difference himself. The legs were finally ready in March 8th but he says he had no money to retrieve them and wanted me to pay the people who did the chroming directly to retrieve them and offered the amount (around $900) in credit on his store. I didn't want to take more money from my pocket to get more things from his store, so we ended up agreeing on giving him one more month to sell more stuff and collect money to pick up the legs. David signed a paper committing to deliver by April 8th. Today, April 7th, David said, I'm sorry, we don't deliver on Saturdays, you can come see how the table is ready tomorrow, but we won't deliver it. This is too much! This guy clearly doesn't know how to run a business!
