I have been with Intact for over 11 years and I never had a claim. On September 23, 2017 my house was broken into and my new truck was stolen. From the claims department (Tammy Stuparyk) to the total loss department (Anna and Tara) were all kind, understanding and very efficient with their jobs. I feel very confident in my future business with intact because I now know from experience that my policy is worth every cent. I appreciate all their hard work and caring attitudes toward me during a scary and upsetting time in my life.

Stay away from this company. Someone hit me in a parking lot, what was suppose to be 50 50 they gave 100 percent of the blame to me, did not pay for the repairs to my car, they paid out the lady that hit my car under "property damage" and denied paying them. This company is garbage. I have been paying for an accident involving property damage that was never done. Save yourself a headache
Stay away from this company. I'm having the worst experience with Intact right now. Don't recommend them to anyone anymore. Was in a car accident and I've been passed on to 5 different people. None of them had the information when a new person came on, even though I sent it to every single person. They don't call you back or email you back. They tell you one thing saying rates will be lower until they determine what's going on, then hit you with documents saying you owe a extra $120 a month. They are a nightmare to deal with. Try to call the customer service line to get answers and they said they'll message the representative and there manager to call me. ( twice this has happened) I still haven't received a call and it's been well over a week. Most negligent company I've ever dealt with. This accident was a almost a year ago too!

I had a great experience with Intact. I've always had this preconception that an insurance company would fight me every step of the way on getting my claim handled but I was wrong.
My car was a complete write off and they kept me updated at every step of the way as well as making sure I quickly had a rental. The agent even extended my rental by two days after giving me my payout offer (Normally that is when you have to return the rental)
