The staff are awesome very friendly and knowledgeable, for the price you are paying it's like a gold mine of amenities. The huge issue is the parking lot is horrendous, massive potholes for years now waiting for a lawsuit.

Great gym, has everything you could possibly need for a workout. Staff are amazing as well. Very knowledgeable, and helped me out with techniques and training tips. Definitely would recommend, and the price is right!

I came in to the gym at 915 with my wife. My wife filled out the sheet to sign up for tanning. Andrea behind the desk told my wife she was not allowed to tan as it was 915 and someone was in the bed. At this point she had said that other people may have let her tan but it was to late. Andrea finally caved but Instead of letting my wife tan for the time she wanted my wife had to only get 15 min and was told to be in and out. I stood there as Andrea told my wife that it takes her 15 minutes to clean the bed so my wife had to be done by 9:45pm. My wife tanned for 15 min and I watched as Andrea did not even clean the bed after my wife got out, as she stated she had to and that's why she rushed my wife. I am not impressed with the disrespect my wife was treated with. This is not the first time I have felt disrespected by this same staff member. I was having trouble with my bank acct being compromised a few months ago and I closed the acct. I came in and this same girl told me she could not fix my problem and would not take my money to reactivate my account. I was obviously not to happy with that answer and I called the Londonderry location where they fixed my issue within minutes. I will be making some decisions on revoking my membership with this club. I have been around the tanning and gym game a long time as I owned a tanning salon years ago and if any of my staff would have told a customer no they could not tan cause it takes them 15 minutes to clean the bed I would have fired them. That kind of customer service will bankrupt a business. I don't care how cheap the membership is, there should still be a standard of quality service to members and just curtesy. I am a patient person but I do not like my wife being disrespected. I am very angry at the treatment from Andrea. I don't recommend this club choose a different location if you want to train. Most of the time the staff at Capilano especially Andrea hide in the office on her cell phone ignoring the members standing at the counter waiting for service. There are also quite a few times my wife had to yell from the tanning bed for them to turn it on because they forget. Their stand up bed has been down for months. Not impressed. If the manager thinks this is quality service this gym will go under in no time.

My card had been expired and I needed to go in to renew. We got there just before 4, I know that's slightly inconvenient but the first time I signed up it took all of 5 minutes. We pressed the assistance button and nothing. My boyfriend walked in, the lady was playing on her phone and told him she was off so she wouldn't do anything for him. Before 4 still means you're on the clock!! (Sunday July 9)
