This is a really nice pub for live music. The beer selection is okay but I come here for the music. Nearly every weekend they have musicians in and they make this pub even more cozy and relaxing. They have the largest booths I’ve ever seen so if you have friends this is the perfect place.

Good atmosphere, It can be usually pretty crowded on the weekends. Eat here a few times, food is good.

Don't leave your jacket unattended.
I've had my jacket stolen and the jackets of about 8 friends of mine (no exaggeration)
A month ago I overheard people discovering their jackets being stolen.
Then last night a friend of mine had theirs stolen...
This is STILL a huge problem!?
Come on!!.. it can't be that hard to notice someone walking out with handfuls of jackets.
Set up a trap or something. Leave a bright, district jacket with "EVP" written on the inside. Then catch them as they walk out the door. It's not f**king rocket science.
Anyway, nice pub. Just cost you your jacket every 5-6 months.

Can't go wrong with this place. The food and the staff are consistently awesome which I truly love. East Village is a good place for a casual drink or a sit down meal, any time of the year. In the summer they have a patio which is in a good location, lots of sun. They are also always doing live music events with local and non-local artists which is wicked. Food wise, can't go wrong with their wings, fish and chips and shepherd's pie. I would definitely recommend this place.
