Their "no commitment" membership means that when you want to cancel, you pay for another extra 30 days. This is their "policy", which of course they don't tell you when they try to talk you into buying a membership.
The membership at University gym (which is generally better than this place after the renovations and additions) is month to month, which is what "no commitment" really means.

They literally do everything they can to con you out of your money. When I signed up I asked if I could freeze my account when I went away to school because paying $29 biweekly would not work for a college student. They said it was no problem and it would only cost $5 a month. September is now here and they are telling me that because I am in my one year contract it will cost me a $50 fee to freeze it BUT they would STILL continue to take $29 from me biweekly which I would "get back" after I unfreeze my account. Let me mention, I was not told ANY of this when I signed up for the membership, I was only told it would cost $5 per month. When they were confronted, they said that I WAS told all of this (basically saying I'm lying). Unless you are planning on being in the same city for the entire year, I don't recommend this gym to anyone.

I used to work here. The club over all is very impressive with up to date equipment and lots of classes offered. There’s always something for everyone. Woman will appreciate then woman’s only with private clasess, work out area and studio.

Great gym. A bit expensive, but large choice of material and classes (yoga, zumba, cycling etc.), nice and helpful employees, pool, jacuzzi, clean changing rooms and other facilities.

I was just here Friday July 14 to redeem a 3 day free trial that was given to me by one of the sales rep. I'm currently already a member at a local gym which I pay 10$ a month. I spoke to one representative and I guess she was a little new and didn't know what to do with the pass that I showed her which I had received from a sales representative. I have no complaints with her because she was simply confused and she passed the situation to a higher up... not sure if the second person was a manager but she was middle aged, brunette, curly hair, and I didn't bother to get a name because she had no experience in customer service at all; she was very rude and inconsiderate. She said she didn't know how I got that gym pass in the first place, which really frustrated me because she was assuming that I either stole that card or it miracoulasly appeared in my pocket. I told her it was given to me by a sales rep and she insisted that she could not help me. The First Lady then said we do have a 1 day and 7 day free trial but seemed to go quiet when the second lady looked at her. So I told the second lady that ok I would like to try the 7 day trial and she even refused that to me by saying you would need a tour guide for that; I responded by saying that's fine I'm okay with a tour, she then said but there's no tour guide!!! I've never been this dumbstruck; I saw atleast 4 free staff members including herself who could have easily shown me the gym but she was just a stubborn sad lady. That's when I knew I should just draw the line; I gave her the pass that was given to me and said I'm not interested.she said it's 15$ for the day which I clearly told her I had a free trial and that I wasn't prepared to pay especially since I was supposed to get in for free. Sorry for the rant but this lady clearly DOES NOT CARE for the clients and she should be removed from dealing with customers because she is ruining the business. My brother currently goes there, and I was willing to join also, but I will definitely not be joining any time soon. Ive been a manager for 8 years and I've never dealt with a potential customer like that, EVEN IF they were wrong!
Other than that the facility looks beautiful! Please adress this issue because that's how you lose business.
