Its about time they closed. They had good equipment, poor maintenance, poor management and always trying to take extra money from you (legally and illegally). Good riddens and Mark Waters (big shot from Toronto lied through his teeth to me) and he was never available to help me in problems. GOOD-BYE CRAPPY GYM. GO BACK TO THE CITIES WHERE YOU CAN SPAM ENOUGH PEOPLE TO NOT CARE ABOUT THEM AND JUST TO TAKE THEIR MONEY AND RUN.

Premier Fitness is a complete rip off. They talked me into their services... and my circumstances ended up changing for the worst and I felt I couldn't afford it (I was within my ten days) They let me out of the contract, but avoided returning my cheque for the personal training. Than the other day I noticed they cashed the cheque for the personal training!!! Four months later! Luckily my bank was able to return the cheque, and told me Premier Fitness is notorious for that. I had paid cash for a full year of the day care services and my membership and I am still waiting to be refunded for that. No one returns my calls, and when they do they tell me the same thing..."oh its coming and we'll call you when it gets here" Everyone I talk to that has dealt with Premier thinks its a complete scam.

Seriously, only go here if you know what you are doing and need no help from them. They promise the sky and deliver on almost none of it. The equipment is often ripped or broken or 'fixed' with duct tape, which scratches when you try to use the equipment...one employee will tell you one thing only for you to find that they had no authority to tell you that...When I was signing up for the membership, I was told that even without the personal trainer fee, I could use the private room...after a couple weeks I went in, only to be told I needed a trainer in with me to be able to use it." But, "Nick" told me I didn't need one to use these machines." " "Nick" no longer works here and I don't know why he told you that"
I know why; as a cheap shill to get me interested in Premier.
(We've since found out that the original Manager wasn't authorized to offer us a renewal package either and our 'deal' wasn't going to be honoured)
The touted Jacuzzi seemed to be forEVER broken...the pool was over-chlorinated one day to the point where my son after 20 minutes had to get out and was up most of the night crying from the discomfort of what was in essense a chemical burn...when we had to leave the pool, I told the "employee" on the front desk about it and if we could discuss the matter with the manager....we never heard from him, phoned back and found out there wasn't even a report filled out...then we found out later (after having essentially given up on this place) that the pool had been closed several times for the same issue..

Again, if you just want to use the weights and machines and know how to put together a fitness regime for yourself, Premier is as good as any place to go...
If you need help look somewhere else...

I joined Premier Fitness recently. They make you do a fitness evaluation and what they say is a nutrition assessment. I went in for the nutrition "evaluation" and they basically wasted my time for one hour asking questions about my diet and why I want to lose weight. After asking all these questions, they basically tell you about a service that they have where they will make out a nutrition plan for you (tell you what to eat each week for $60 per week). I understood that they were going to give me some type of nutrition advice. I wasn't expecting to provide all this personal information and get nothing out of it. I had to hire a babysitter for this and feel so angry that they now have my private information. I bet I am going to be called by all kinds of telemarketers now. If I had known they were going to just try to sell their services, I would never have gone to this. It was basically the same with the fitness evaluation (20 minutes of showing me some machines and then 50 minutes of trying to sell me personal training). I'm a single mother and can't afford these services. I don't even want them. Don't let them trick you into wasting your time. It's not what they say it is.
