We were passing through last week on our way home from a camping trip. We suspected our dog had an infection and brought her to Green Acres as it was still a few days until we reached home. They were able to fit us in and were very friendly, helpful and kind. They knew they wouldn't see us again, but still took great care of our dog and us. I highly recommend this clinic.

I went to Green Acres after I had been to a different vet with my very sick pup and wanted a second opinion. They were recommended to me by a friend and I am SO glad I went.
First of all, the front desk/receptionist staff is WONDERFUL and so caring. They were extremely accommodating and warm on the phone when making the appointment, and were wonderful to deal with when we arrived at the facility. My previous vet's office hadn't sent the records to Green Acres after multiple requests and finally one of the ladies working reception (I didn't catch her name) sat on the phone with them and didn't get off until they sent them. Small touch but I felt like she truly cared about my time and wanted to make sure everything went well for us.
We saw Dr. Ramona Penney and I was so happy with how thorough she was. She listened to my concerns and didn't try to brush them off, and took the time to notice that something just wasn't adding up with my dog's health.
Dr. Penney said she felt my dog had a neurological issue and referred me to a specialist in Calgary (who was also amazing), and even took the time to phone and find out if they had an appointment once I had left her office, and asked them to hold the appointment while she called me back to check if it would work for my schedule.
Thanks to the staff at Green Acres, my little sweetie got the care and attention she needed, and can now be treated before things get worse. Had Dr. Penney not been as thorough as she was, my dog's disease likely would not have been caught, and she would not have landed in the superb care of the specialist team in Calgary.
I would highly recommend Green Acres Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a great veterinary team for their furry family members!
