I and my family/friends have been coming here for many years and sorry to say this may be coming to an end. A group of eight went last Saturday night for dinner and drinks...in short: slow waitress, cheap but not good food, all came at different times, no utensils on the table. At least 4 of our party did not feel well the next day....the food or possibly due to the unbelievably disgusting bathrooms! I used to really like The Ale House....the food and the service was great, but now it's only for beer. It's a shame...

Their spicy wings are not as spicy as they used to be, made me very sad. Their bacon steak is just 2 pieces of think slice of bacon. It was good but definitely not worth the price. Staff are great, very attentive and friendly. They used to have those trivia tablets, not sure if they still do. A lot of their menu is delicious.

Bathroom cleanliness was absolutely disgusting. Pitcher was empty for 20 mins without a waiter coming to refill and when jokingly singing along the song with modified words, we were told to quiet down. Only reason I gave this 2 stars was because the male server wore a kilt.

Not a bad pub. Inexpensive beer and half decent food. The waitresses are usually clothed though last time I was there they went back to the short skirts underwear optional vibe.

The owner needs a Gordon Ramsey make over on the food. The food was expensive and the only thing that was good was the French fries and my very small amount of smoked duck. My daughter ordered the lasagna and it was very bland. I had the duck salad and there were so many green peppers on a very plain salad and approximately1/3 cup of smoked duck. My husband said his fish was bad and my daughter ordered a side of specialty fries and they tasted freezer burned. Only my husband's standard fries were good. Waitress was attentive...however, the good service doesn't cancel out the poor food.
