I have been with Omni for 2 years for my vehicle insurance and so I was excited to further the business relationship by getting small business insurance through them. I had previously found a dog grooming insurance quote and so I contacted Omni to see if they could match the policy or find something better. Dan got back to me with "essentially the same policy, just a little more but at least its not from a company in Toronto" was what I was told. He went over the gist of the policy but didn't let me read anything until I got my copy in the mail. After I got my copy a few days later, it turned out to be General Contractor Insurance that didn't cover pets or vet bills or anything pertinent to my needs. I called Dan on a monday and he said he would look in to it and let me know the next day. waited...waited... called friday, he said he had nothing and would send me a cancellation. Meanwhile, there is a hold Brokers have over quotes so he has not released it so I can get proper coverage. I am a small business owner and operator so a lot is riding on this. I feel he didn't care about me because he wasn't going to make a big buck off me and the customer service was quite lacking. I tried calling other people in the company and they deferred me to him again and again. I would not recommend this company.
