You can get a variety of experiences from this place; family dinner, drinks with friends, sports night, small concerts and the staff will remember you. The food is better than your average bar food and prices are very reasonable. Almost feels like you're in a small town.
They also have vegetarian options for the veggie in your crowd which is rare for this type of establishment. For example Jack Astor's only has one vegetarian item on their menu, and thats even including the salad menu.

Great value, good portions pub food. Great specials, fast service. Chicken gumbo soup is great. Burgers and Sammie's are delicious.

Mixed feelings. Cold beer. good nachos. Hey had the Mayweather Mcgregor fight.That part was great.
BUT....
Sadly there were no actual live dogs on the premises. I expected something more. I don't know. Kibble in the bar instead of popcorn. Beer served in steel bowls, some sort of protocol concerning the mounting and humping of strangers. I sniff one stranger''s butt and WHAM! tossed out on my rear haunches. No warning, not even an initial smack between the ears with a rolled up newspaper. So unfair.
