I recently purchased a gift certificate for someone. The first warning sign should have been that they closed early 2 nights when I tried to buy a gift certificate. I had called earlier in the day and was told they would be open till 8 pm. They were closed by 6:51 the first night and 6:33 the next night.
I had to leave during the middle of my day from work to be able to catch them open.
The recipient booked an appointment mentioning to expect to get said gift certificate. Ethos called her 4 times to make sure she had received the gift certificate. The recipient kept calling me asking me to call the spa to get the calls to stop.
I've never been to a spa, but aren't they suppose to relax you not stress you out?

Have had many different treatments at this spa. Massage, eyebrow wax, brazilian wax, pedicure, manicure. All great except for my pedicure. But it was my first pedicure and I was iffy about it. The woman who did my pedicure was not friendly and was not pleasant to have doing it. Especially since I was uncomfortable with the idea, but giving it a try. After that experience I won't get a pedicure again.
As far as waxing goes, I found most of the women working there were very friendly and made a comfortable environment.
If you're looking for a nice spa to go to, or looking to get a wax, I definitely recommend going to Ethos.
