Debilitated and depressed after suffering for four months with excruciating sciatica pain and from the failed therapy of two ‘corporate’ physiotherapy suppliers and one chiropractor – I lucked out and came under the care of Bill Landry [an experienced and fully qualified physiotherapist who owns and operates Family Physio – a pair of community based clinics, one in the south end the other in north end, of London].
Unlike many of his colleagues who work for large national chain organisations (with all the promotional and advertising clout that entails), Bill is not tied to treatment algorithms or protocols: instead he relies on his years of experience and diagnostic expertise to design individual courses of treatments for his patients.
After reading my X-ray and MRI reports Bill quickly recommended dispensing with all but one of the exercises I had been previously given (because they were counterproductive) and suggested trying a short course of spinal decompression.
After 4 weeks I am now 90% pain free and working towards becoming 100% pain free – thanks to Family Physiotherapy who succeeded where others failed. My faith in the value of physiotherapy for sciatica is now total restored.

My son has been a patient at FPC London for over 9 months now recovering from a sports related injury and surgery. Samantha Doralp has been nothing but amazing!! Her love for her patients shines through as well as her commitment to her profession. We have been made to feel like family. The time and individual focus that my son has received has been amazing and definitely shows in his recovery. Samantha's smile, positive demeanor and awesome sense of humour have made such a personal difference in getting us through this difficult time. She is extremely knowledgeable and so good at what she does. We would recommend Samantha to anyone needing care as there is no one like her. I must also say the entire office is awesome as well. We have always been made to feel so welcome and comfortable by all of the staff including Cassandra who is absolutely charming when you speak to her on the phone or in person.

Having experienced back pain for many years I finally decided to do something about it as I did not want to be dependent on Advil and/or Celebrex for relief. I chose Family Physiotherapy Centre and specifically Bill Landry, as he was very instrumental in resolving an internal problem I was recently experiencing. He diagnosed exactly what my issue was and provided me with exercises to complete on a daily basis. In addition, spinal decompression therapy was also started and within a week I was off Celebrex/Advil and no longer experienced pain during the day or night. I would highly recommend Bill and Family Physiotherapy.

I would recommend Bill Landry to anyone seeking physiotherapy help. A year after quad tendon surgery my knee was still very weak and I was suffering pain in the opposing ankle. Bill diagnosed my issues quickly and gave me exercises which have helped enormously. Thanks to him and Jenna, the ankle is back to normal and, while my knee will always have some residual weakness, it is much stronger now and I am able to walk much better than before.
