Most amazing clinic and staff! I adopted two 1 year old rats (rats generally live to 2) and was obviously a little rocky when starting out with them (e.g. how much fresh food can they have, what does a rat sneeze sound like, how often do I need to wash their tails, things like that) and the docs were absolutely amazing. Never, ever pretentious or condescending. When one of my girls got a tumor, I did what any pet parent would do and took to Google while waiting for our appointment. I figured it was a benign mammary tumor and told the vets. They came into the room with totally open ears about what I had read and were completely respectful. When I brought my girl in, the tumor was pretty large because where it was placed made it look like a muscle until it was huge, and it grew super quickly (like muscle size to huge in 4 days), and I was still new with rats so I wasn't sure how fast tumors good grow on them. No one ever scolded me for bringing her in late and amazingly made room in their busy schedule to get my Toffee into surgery ASAP to avoid risking it growing larger. Long story short - they always believe their clients. They respect that you know your pet best and always listen to you with open ears. Toffee is not just another rat to them, she is "fiesty, tough, dramatic, sweet little Toffee ❤ Also, the pets love them! (Except maybe Toffee, who probably does not want to risk leaving with another ouchie again 😂).

Dr Tucker and the staff at West London Pet Hospital are amazing. We trust him with other dogs, birds, and rabbits. He always takes the time to explain what is needed and why all while showing that he genuinely cares for his patients.

Love this clinic. Wonderful understanding stuff. Most important aspect for me is that Dr. Shawn does home visits and works with the breeders. He is very supportive in issues concerned with the canine reproduction. I can have AI, including Trans cervical insemination right in London Ontario. I would recommend this clinic to both pet owners and breeders.

All the docs and staff here are knowledgeable, thorough and have great empathy. Dr Tucker in particular has always taken the time to explain everything and teach us how to do things like subcutaneous fluid injections at home.
We first came to this veterinary office after searching the London area for anyone with more than cursory knowledge in small pets like rabbits. We were so impressed that we've since brought all our furry friends and will continue to do so in the years to come!
