We had purchased a groupon to try out CMGTC, and finally went yesterday. The service is rather slow, so this is not the place to be if you are in a rush. The appetizers (beef tartare and squash soup) were fantastic, but the mains were rather disappointing; the pork chop was a overcooked and doused in the semi-glace sauce, while the mashed potatoes had gotten dry and crispy on the outside. The burger was better than the pork, but the patty was far too thick, and the condiments and extras too little. The parmesan fries and beetroot salad on the side, however, were delicious!

Very pleased with this restaurant. We had a groupon coupon and made the price-quality affordable. Otherwise a tad expensive. Food was delicious. Will defenetly go back with a groupon of course ! The hamburger is equal to foodgasm. Service and place good.

Every year we go to Ma Grosse Truie Chérie at least once and we have never been disappointed :) The staff is always friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. This time, we had the "Cochonne a s'en lécher les doigts" (four of the most popular menu items for sharing) with the fois gras poêlé which was perfectly cooked and served with a rhubarb jam. Delicious!
