My favorite place to stay in Montreal. It's a small, unpretentious apart-hotel in an older building. Everything is clean. The rooms have kitchenettes and they will leave a croissant in a bag on your doorknob in the morning which is a nice touch. Service is always friendly. Hotel is very well-located right on St-Denis; lots of places to visit and see in the area. The rooms on the courtyard are very quiet and relaxing.

Awesome location and staff is very friendly and eager to please. Minor concerns were addressed promptly. Would stay here again.

Excellent service, except the place has tight quarters. Room barely fits queen size bed, coffee machine was not cleaned.

I got one of the smaller hotel rooms. It was small but just fine for me. These are older European style buildings so you can not expect a massive room. For the price point the rooms were nice and clean.
Reception staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
In the mornings you get a choice of some bread or a croissant that they leave on your door in the morning ready for you when you are ready to eat. The rooms have a little kitchen with an oven, refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. Just pop what ever you choose to have for breakfast into the toaster oven and put some of the jellies they supply to you and your good to go! Also they stock the fridge with juice and water. You are welcome to have them free of charge. They also supply wines. Those are not free.
My one complaint and it's really not the hotels fault. But if your room is in the same floor as the check-in area, it can be quite loud at night as there is a Jazz club right under you that plays late into the night. Again this is not the hotels fault as they have no control over this.
Also I wish they had curtains in the room. I felt as though the blinds did not close enough and people outside can see in and let a lot of light in at night.
Overall. I had a good stay and would choose to book again.
