The Mccord Museum is a nice place where you can learn more about the other cultures. It is located in a very pretty neighborhood. I really recommend this place.

Visited the Expo 67 and the magic exhibitions. Beautifully done, i highly recommend both! Also, discount for CAA members!

Staff was nice and helpful, for a reasonable price you have access to different exhibition. Worth to try at least once.

The "fashion" museum of Montreal. They deal with historic clothing and textiles, from modern Canadian and International, to historical First Nation garments, their permanent collection is interesting, as are their temporary expositions. The museum can be a bit on the dry side, if you are less interested in fashion and more interested in actual history. All in all, it's nice to visit it at least once.

Bit pricey at $20 (I went on Wednesday for the cheaper cost, but I guess I came too early in the day..? So I paid in full. That said, before I paid I saw a couple exhibits by going through the store, and somehow kept going through the exhibits through their exits because I could not find the entrances. An employee only said something about buying a ticket once I realized I should probably look for a starting place for the EXPO exhibit and purposely passed the "sortie" entrance by. I don't know what the lady at the front desk was doing to let me wander around as I please.)
I saw the "Wearing Our Identity -- The First Peoples Collection" first, and it convinced me to stay. It set the trend of small, sad exhibit if you just skim through it, but thoroughly satisfying and interesting if you read and look at everything. This one is the best one there in my opinion though. The others I saw were the Illusions, fashion, and Aislin ones. It's only worth the price if you actually read and take everything in though. If you like zooming past artifacts and photos, a different museum might be a better choice.
