They have really done a stunning job renovating the Quartier des Spectacle. The fountains are great for children and the layout allows for a wide variety of events to take place with large open areas and great lighting. A must visit when in Montreal and you will surely find some events ongoing.

There was some festival going on. It was awesome. Stop by at night and see what is happening.

Montreal jazz festival usually has blues music here. And Montreal 375 had Place des Anges (Angel's Place) aerial acrobatics with feathers blowing everywhere! And great music.

This place is great for festival. But.....
I couldn't find any public toilet even in the subway station. Montreal city administrator must think about this. Montreal needs more public toilet. I could hardly find toilet in the Big park, metro stations, even place des arts.
Many people wasted thier time to find public toilet in festival season.

Went here last July for a festival, it was perfect! Our group had an age range of 15-50 and we all enjoyed ourselves. All kinds of types of people. The music was great. We brought a nice picnic and our dogs, and so did plenty of others. People are friendly. We found a nice tree and spread out on the ground. It was a great time and a wonderful memory.
