I didn't do the water stuff, just a massage but there are a few things worth noting. Half size lockers are not acceptable. I went in the Fall and it was tough to fit my things inside the locker. I can't imagine where all the winter clothes would go. Also, only 2 showers means WAITING for a shower (the locker room feels less like a boat or spa and more like a submarine). Speaking of waiting - I understand waiting in line to check-in to a spa (which you have to do here), but waiting in line to CHECK-OUT ALSO?? SERIOUSLY??? If you're lucky the line will be short. I had to wait 10-15 min . This is such an error in planning and management. I know you want to keep adding charges like drinks and food while people are in the SPA but this is no excuse for the get in line and wait to pay before you leave policy. Lastly, NO ONE WANTS TO FILL OUT PAPERWORK RIGHT AFTER THEY FINISH A MASSAGE - this is a rate your massage experience and how much tip do want to leave card they hand you thirty seconds after your massage is over. Someone is missing the whole concept behind relaxing place. For this price range there are much more luxurious and far better run spas to go in Montreal. Massage was good, but that's beside the point...

Friendly staff, great atmosphere, clean and the garden was beautiful! The restaurant was tasty and had a great open space with a wonderful view. My massage was great, my masseuse listened to my preferences and did a great job. My only complaint would be it’s too close to the city, I’d rather be close to nature but that’s my own preference and has nothing to do with the spa itself. Other than that, overall it was a nice experience.

I wrote a much longer version of this review to the Spa themselves, but after not receiving a response, I feel that perhaps I should share an abridged version for future guests.

Pros:
-Lovely design of exterior, and interesting concept
-Restaurant staff courteous and prompt, food was tasty
-Massage was great for what I received, but it was not what I paid for (wanted deep tissue and spent half the time receiving reiki. Therapist was excellent and I just relaxed, but wouldn't pay that much again for a massage there)

Cons:
-Locker room straight out of a 1970s elementary school
-filthy floors covered in hair. We were told not to wear our outdoor shoes so we didn't, but we were among the only ones, the stairs up into the main spa were horrible
- the towel was thin and cheap and you only get one!?!
-Silence is not enforced
-Selfies are taken at will...I do not want to end up on some social media site in my bathing suit.
-Locker room door opens directly into the private area and the mans locker room door is directly across so there is no real privacy as the door opens. I felt sorry for the ladies with lockers across from the doors.

All in all, I think the only word I really need in the con section is dirty. Because it was.

Bring some friends and join the cult! It's a very fun and unique time, bordering on the bizarre. Once you change into your swimsuit, you are given the Bota Bota standard hooded robe and encouraged to wander about the ship. There are several saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, cold tubs, swinging chairs, and swimming pools to choose from. While not overcrowded, there is a certain humor to being surrounded by large amounts of silent robed people milling about an architecturally stunning old boat while soothing spa soundtracks play.
