This place is most often a hotspot, so you may have to wait a bit. But like the name implies, you get a big portion of food. Come hungry leave full.

Great spot! I had a great Pasta Jambalaya recently, but the normal Jambalaya (with rice) beats it in my opinion. I personally don't recommend the fried chicken though.

Went out for a nice evening and tried the 'Buck-a-Shuck Oysters' which were really good and I also got to try Alligator for the first time; impressed! On top of that the dueling pianos were absolutely amazing, they played so many classics you could tell people just wanted to get up and star dancing.

I have been here several times and usually it is not that bad. This time, however, our experience was AWFUL!
We arrived around 8 on Saturday night. We were seated right away, in a booth, which was great. I ordered our first round of drinks (a drink each and a round of shots) which took FOREVER to arrive, and the server didn't even bring the water that one of us asked for. When she did bring a water, it was a small tumbler glass which, let's face it, doesn't cut it in this heat when someone asks for a glass of water. A little later in the evening I asked for a Whiskey Sour. After a LONG wait, I was brought a drink that had pineapple juice in it... not like any Whiskey Sour I had ever had before. So I sent it back and asked for something else instead. We asked for a second round of shots (which was the same as the first round) and were brought COMPLETELY different shots. Now, I understand that there are multiple bartenders working and perhaps they don't all make everything the same way (but they should!) but our server should have had the error corrected before bringing our drinks to the table and acknowledging that yes, they were made wrong and apologizing (she admitted she knew they were wrong and was just hoping we would accept them anyway). The entire time there was nothing short of disappointing. And am I the only one who finds it strange that they don't serve a proper Whiskey Sour??? I was soured by this visit, and so were my guests. I will not be returning there and neither will they!
