Value Village

Fairly average Value Village overall, not the biggest nor the smallest. For my interests, my favourite thing about Cyrville Road Value Village is that they still usually price the bags of old Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars at $2, while most others in Ottawa have the toy car bags at $4 and the newest ones sometimes have them at $6. They usually only put 4 cars in a bag, but that's not necessarily a bad thing as I often buy Hot Wheels bags just for one or two vintage cars and will re-donate the rest, so the fewer cars in a bag that I need to re-donate, the better.

For whatever reason, I've also noticed that this particular Value Village sometimes gets pretty awesome Japanese anime merchandise including figures, dolls, and even imported soundtrack CDs. I've also found it one of the best in Ottawa for old video games and I like browsing the books and DVDs too, although I do that at every Value Village.

Halloween spectacular. We come twice a year, once to donate and once for Halloween. Great place!

I find that the clothes/footwear are quite pricey for used items. We saw a coat for 29.99 and bought a new one at Walmart the same for 34.99. Another example, we saw a pair of firefly boots for 29.99 and saw them online for 44.00 cdn. The best bargains are when it is 50% or 30% off days.

Cheap yet amazing finds! The place is huge and well organized. Staff are nice and helpful

I love the diversity of choices. Staff has been helpful and friendly. Drawback.... They charge more than most places as do most value villages.
