Mr. Lima and his son went above and beyond to help my mother. She arrived in town today (Saturday) before being the guest of honour at a special ceremony tomorrow. At 4 pm, a front tooth broke off her upper denture.
Mr. Lima returned my phone call immediately and said he would meet us at his Merivale office in 15 minutes. Within an hour, he had her denture repaired and her special day saved.
I can't even imagine how my embarrassed and self-conscious my mom would have been if she had had to be the centre of attention and subject of many photographs with a missing front tooth. It would have ruined an important day for her.
The Lima family was magnificent. And my family is extremely grateful for their kindness and professionalism in a crisis! Thank you! Thank you!

If you are contemplating dental implants STOP! looking, I didn't and did make a lot of bad choices. First bad choice was not getting a second opinion after I was diagnosed with gum disease and told by my dentist the best advice was to remove all my teeth and get implants. Second bad choice allowing my dentist to make all the sets of false teeth and appliances for the implants, what i did not know I was his first guinea pig. I went through 3 years of dental hell, poor fitting dentures, speech impediment, and a very sore mouth. Now the only smart thing I did, I contacted Joseph Lima Denture Clinic and spoke to Carolyn, she immediately put me at ease. She arranged a appointment with Joseph. I had all the bad experiences fresh in my mind and approached with caution. After 10 minutes with Joe and his listening ability and his common sense approach, I now finely made a great choice. With Joe's skill as a dental technician my mouth has never felt better. Don't make the same mistakes as I did, when it comes to implants, speak to the people who make you make them it only make sense that he fit you for them. Thank you Carolyn and thank you Joe. You put a song back in my mouth.

Not a very good experience. I should say that I am no way knowledgeable about dentures but my elderly parent's denture clearly did not fit well. Dr. Joseph Lima seems to have little patience dealing with elderly patients and we ended up having to go elsewhere and start from square one again.
