Doctors and other staffs are very responsible and nice. They do really care about you. I've graduated long ago, but it's still my primary option.

Honestly the fact that you have to take a number when you have a set appointment time makes zero sense and it slows the whole system down. I'm floored that they have that kind of system in place for the family doctors. Otherwise my actual doctor experience was fairly good and positive. I would reccomend it but a serious change is needed to the system they have in place.

Excellent health services in a nick of time! 😊 I was having trouble breathing plus deeply caughing. It took 25 minutes inside out. I noticed Dr Sherma's calm and professionalism really helped me out through the examination. She prescribed me antibiotics and gave me a few tips to better control my asthma.

They do not know how to treat people with disabilities. Physical or mental. They discriminate against people with mental disabilities. The doctors over book themselves, and do not have time to deal with their clients/patients properly. They will rush you around and treat you like a number, because they get paid based on the amount of people they see. You're better off going to just a regular walk in clinic.

***Edit/Update***
I spoke with the person in charge of patient relations, and nothing was done. I was encouraged to contact the patients ombudsman, or the college of surgeons if I had any further complaints, but neither of those organizations have any real power. I was ultimately told that nothing would be done about my issue, and that there are other clinics available if I am not satisfied with the level of "service" or "professionalism" displayed by the clinic and it's staff.

I have been using this clinic since it opened. The waiting room can be cramped but they are very organized and do an excellent job of checking patients in, seeing the triage nurse and finally the doctor. Very professional, friendly and worth the wait. I now have a family doctor at Marie Curie, but I still utilize the clinic after doctor office hours. Bring a book and relax you will see the doctor and be taken care of, no matter how busy they are. One of the best clinics in Ottawa, hands down.
