Worst place to buy contact lens. They made me purchase a WHOLE years supply of contact lens before giving me trial ones. This was when I even said I have not worn contact lens before. Turns out the trial lens that came with the supply was no good for me. Kept giving me other lense, none good. So when I decided to reduce my supply to six months and change to a different brand (made it much cheaper) they refused to give me back the difference. Instead he said he would do store credit. All they care about is scamming you. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Laurier Optical ordered me contact lenses and i paid 170. took one month to arrive and told me they need to charge me 40 dollars because my lenses were special ordered. Asked for a refund and they said it is a no refund policy and i must pay the 40 dollars in order to get my lenses. I was not informed over the phone by the sales associate that the price of the lenses increased. There was absolutely no help with even a mere thought of a solution being given. It was essentially a scam covered up to look like a professional business. I dont want to seem like im bitching about the whole situation but the store manager put his ego above customer satisfaction. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE for anything optical related. I cannot stress enough the lack of effort displayed by the store manager to help the situation. As acting manager he should claim responsibility for his employees, and should act accordingly.

Heyyyyy I have tried a couple store in Ottawa since moving here. This store was INCREDIBLY HELPFUL very VERY FRIENDLY I recommended this location to friends already. As for the other bloggers commemts they cleary have issues none related to this store.

Absolute useless service and management. Went in to get my my lenses replaced on my glasses and they installed a thicker one. They sent it back to the lab to correct it to only get sent back again with the same thick thick lenses! They finally realized, oh wait, our new lab doesn't do that 1.74 hi index that you originally had. Bunch of idiots didn't realize this from the get go even though I repeatedly reminded them that I have a 1.74 lens. Their lab is also now situated in Toronto so it takes 2 weeks! After a month of my time wasted, I took my original lens back and took my business elsewhere where they not only installed the correct lens, but also for cheaper with a quick turn around. AVOID THIS PLACE!
