Went to experience Canada 🇨🇦 150 Mosaic.. Amazing! Parking is very limited and it is pay 💰 parking. Had difficulty getting to Jacques Cartier Park. Careful to be in correct lane or you will end up having to go over Alexandra Bridge into Ottawa & have to back track to Hull/Gatineau.. overall visit was good.. keeping in mind parking is limited!

MosaiCanada 150 is tucked into a corner of the Park. It holds a marvellous collection of over thirty sculptures imaginatively constructed out of plants and flowers. Underlying the living vegetation is some sort of frame or structure which can't be seen. Each sculpture is quite marvellous such that I photographed over half of them so that I can see them again and again.
My favourite sculpture is Mother Earth seen as the head of a sad female. It took a long time to view each of two Chinese sculptures because of the complexity of the dragons and lions. In front of the large locomotive was a large field of hundreds (thousands?) of individually potted poppies. The RCMP horse and rider, prospector, lobster fisherman, giant, voyageur and hockey player are also memorable.

Who made this was an amazing place that was a display of mosia Canada here this time and we went to see this place. It was well decorated and was stunningly guard sculptures from the plants and flowers which would just blow your mind. in general the spark is really good for walks or taking your dog, or even biking. This is not a really big part but you can spend good quality time along the river and in the park I would definitely recommend going here.

Very big park. So we rented bikes at $5 each for the day (until 4:30pm). Then rode them to see the bountiful display of flowers made in Canadian images from different provinces and the Chinese. It's the 150 years Canadian Anniversary. What an art! It's wheel chair and stroller accessible, I believe.

The plant sculptures are amazing and it is free. A must go!
They open at 10 in the morning and not a minute earlier and there is a huge line up at the gate by then. You have to go through security if you have a bag so skip the bag if you want to save time. Bathrooms are those construction sites/concert portable things. I haven't tried them so I do not know if they are kept clean but there are a number of them around. You also have to pay for parking unless you are lucky and find a spot on the streets around the park.
