Worst experience ever
I paid almost $80 for hair root touch up and I am totally upset now.
I am an Asian girl, and my original hair color is black. I got my hair dyed dark brown before. Since the black hair roots grew up, I decided to go to this salon to dye my hair roots to match my rest of hair.
After the hair root touch up finished, I went back home and noticed the hair roots on the front of my head showed brown color. But the brown color was not really dark brown as the rest of my hair, it was kind of mixed red with brown. Also, the new color totally didn’t show in the back; my hair roots were still black in the back. My hair looked so bad since I have red, black and dark brown all on my hair. So I went back to the salon and talked with the owner to see if I could get a refund since my hair looked so bad.
The owner said she didn’t believe my black color was my nature hair color. She said she believed I must dyed my hair roots dark color before, so her product cannot cover it. She said this was the reason the hair roots were still black in the back.
I said my nature hair color is black, and there was no reason that I would dye my hair roots black when I have brown hair. She said she didn't believe me. I felt she just wanted to find an excuse to blame on me. This was the first time I met this kind of situation.
She refused to give a refund since she thought they did everything right. And she blamed me why I didn’t call before I came to the salon, so she didn’t have time to fix my hair today. Although she got a girl to help me turn the red color in the front to brown, the hair roots in the back are still black.
The owner said I could come back to recolor the hair roots in the back, but I really disappointed with her attitude. I won’t go to the hair salon anymore.

I was extremely happy with how my hair turned out however when i arrived at reception to pay at the end, I left so unhappy. Huge miscommunication. My hair looks amazing now and my dresser did an incredible job..however my dresser gave me two options to go about my hair; a $135 route (longer lasting colour etc) or a $95 route (would still look good but not as long lasting). I said the $95 route. Long story short, when i went to the cash at the end my total came up to $188. When i asked for an explanation, she took everything she said back in front of her manager, and charged extra costs that i didnt fully understand and were not discussed from the start. It's too bad because my friends have spoken highly of this salon and told me it was student budget friendly, little did I know of the costs that would be incurred without my discretion. I really want to return to this place because she did an amazing job but lied from the start. 8
