If you want a good dinner ..then this is the place..a little pricey for a steakhouse...on the flip side I've always had a delicious meal

Good service. But crappy food. All tastes the same. It's really nothing special. And if you want a good steak. Go to the keg.. cost is the same. Chances of getting a good steak.are better.

Mr Mikes Prince George is loose with food safety and seemingly unconcerned about cross contamination issues. My family went for dinner there not too long ago, when our first course showed up, we all dived in to the shared order of potato skins, within seconds my wife advised me that there were unadvertised tree-nuts in the potato skins. I advised the manager “Dave” about the problem with unadvertised tree-nuts in the menu item; he told us that it was our fault, and that we always need to tell them that there is an allergy sufferer in the party.
This type of response from a restaurant operator was a first for us; we eat out a fair bit and never advise restaurants that there is an allergy, we just count on professional restaurant operators, and the kitchen workers that report to them. We expect that kitchen staff will wash their hands and swap out utensils after dealing with smelly and dangerous food items. That is seemingly not the practice at Mr Mikes Prince George though, and that’s too bad. The manager “Dave” made me feel like I was trying to hustle him out of an order of potato skins. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth to say the least.

Good atmosphere. Great staff. Fun place to hang out. Good happy hour on week days. Awesome beer on tap. What's not to love?!

Fun atmosphere, staff are friendly. The food is perhaps satisfactory for the price. Had the prime rib recently, won't order again; it was on the dry side and came overcooked, but I was too hungry to send it back. Others in my party ordered noodle based dishes; noodles were bulk Asian noodle type. Their proprietary draught beers arrive nice and cold and are pretty good.
