I like free food, but not when I find other people’s French fries on the chairs and on the floor when I check into a room. It is a good location in the heart of old Quebec City, with pool and spa. Attached to Chez boulay restaurant.

We stayed at the hotel manoir Victoria for 4 days during a vacation to quebec. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The cleaning ninjas were able to get in and replace the towels and make the bed while we were at breakfast, and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with any concerns or questions. The reasons for not giving 5 stars are minor but irritating enough to ruin a perfect score. First off the washroom in our room was directly across from the foot of bed. This wouldn't be a problem in 99% of hotel rooms except in this case the cute, modern pocket door had no latching device so during a romantic vacation with my SO the door would occasionally just slide open while one of us was sitting on the toilet. This required you to lean forward and stretch out while on the toilet to hold the door closed if you wanted any privacy. My second issue may simply be based on unfortunate timing but never the less, on 2 occasions I went to the front desk in need of help with something to find the desk unoccupied. Short of yelling or banging the counter there is no way to get the staff's attention so each time I ended up standing around waiting for over 5 minutes. I'm not an impatient person and the staff were still very pleasant but I found this unacceptable for mid day service on whay is nomally a $200+ per night hotel.

This hotel offers fantastic staff with the most comfortable pillows/beds I've ever slept in. The location is great being close to everything in the heart of Old Quebec. I chose to go to Quebec city with 4 girlfriends for a taste of Europe to celebrate my 50th birthday. All of us enjoyed our shopping, touring, eating and our hotel experience. We hope to return with our husbands. Keep up the good work. You have a great staff 💖
Even though there are quite a few stairs in the entrance, our suitcases were carried up and down by staff with no wait times😎.

Such a wonderful mix of historic and new! The rooms are modern and pristine and the lobby and entry are wonderfully historic. A pastry shop, restaurant and hotel buffet are available right from the hotel lobby. We would highly recommend this hotel right in the center of the historic district. Moments away from hundreds of shops and restaurants, horse drawn carriage rides and more. 400 years of history at your fingertips.

We stayed at Hotel Manoir Victoria for the first time this week, and I'll share some thoughts on how it compares to the Chateau Frontenac since that's where we often end up staying.

First of all, I should mention up front that we paid half of what we'd normally pay at the Frontenac, so the Manoir Victoria is already a fantastic deal. The rooms at the Manoir Victoria are modern and clean, compared to some of the older rooms at the Frontenac (though there are also renovated rooms at the Frontenac).

Where the two hotels differ is in a few small things. First of all, valet parking is more difficult since the Victoria is on a relatively busy street (to no fault of the valet attendants). Just be prepared to have to wait a little longer.

Also, there are small things like not having a hot tub, or bathrobe and slippers in the rooms. Lastly, the main hotel entrance is at the bottom of some stairs, so it may not be as convenient if you are pushing a stroller.

Overall, it's still a great deal, great location - just some small things that keep me from giving an exceptional rating.
