Went to lunch with a friend. Two things to remember : 1. the soup is great, a nice touch of spicy and coco! 2. The sushis/makis are definetely in my personal top 5 in the city.

An awesome sushi selection. Always makes it onto our list of restaurants while visiting the area. The General Tsao is a favorite

I'm sure this place would (not) have been epic but they purposely cancelled our reservation because they wanted to host a bigger group. We reserved 2 weeks prior and even called the day before to confirm. This was a family and friends dinner for my friends wedding. They were snobby with us and even had out names crossed out on the reservation list.
But you know who was awesome, Restaurant Soria right across the street. They hooked us up with seating for our party right away and the food was great.

We had to wait a while before being served, the Steak Shogun was passable (even though the cooking was perfectly like I asked) and the sushis were just okay (had a lot better in less expensive and/or all you can eat places).
Too bad that the price was so high for such a poor display.

We were in a small area, close to the wall. First, we've been waiting 30 minutes before a waitress came to see us. First meal, ''Vietnamese'' soup...with celery and carrots cube and a little taste of coconut (Not even noticeable). Sushi were similar to any other ordinary sushi, nothing to see there. Meal were cold. And finally the payment, which we were told by the waitress the amount given for the gratuity was too low..can you believe that...
Only positive point, Shogun Tao was good, if it would have been warmer.
