An old but beautiful cinema. It's usually not crowded and has a wide variety of films to choose from. I like this place a lot.

Went to the theatre to enjoy a movie, but a woman with her 2 kids a couple rows ahead of me decided she needed to be on her phone throughout the movie. BUT, luckily the staff came and told her where she could put her phone. She became indignant, as such a self-centered person would. But she did put her phone away, so unfortunately I didnt get to see her get thrown out, I got to enjoy the movie at least! Cheers to the Rainbow Cinema staff!

Went on the half price week to see Megan Leavy. Great show. Only $2 for the ticket. Usually a line up but quick process

Usually a very good experience until our last visit with my 5 year old daughter and her friend. I accidentally kept my phone on after the commercials (got absorbed in news headlines about Trump and didn't notice when the movie started! Oops.) I am otherwise aware of and very respectful of the cel phone policy. A few minutes into the movie I was scared suddenly when I felt a hard tap on my shoulder and an employee said "Phone off!" He could have alerted me without touching me - it was an inappropriate action. It was even more upsetting when the owner/manager dismissed my concern without even talking to the employee. Otherwise all of the other staff have been great. Best popcorn in the city. Best movie prices.
